it was pouring this morning when we left for cal. it stopped shortly after we got here. we waited for the bus for 30 minutes in the pouring rain. i was soaked before we even got to the bus stop. But, i guess waiting 30 minutes was better than walking in the rain. i am still wet. my pants have dried, but my feet are still wet. i was ok until i got off the bus. i accidently got off in a huge puddle of water and both my feet were about halfway covered in water. i am not happy. i should have brought an extra pair of socks and shoes, because mine are still nice and wet.
ugh. if only this week could have started a little better!
anyway....other than being cranky about the rain we are doing ok. we went to santa cruz for the weekend. got our hair cut and had yummy takara with elaine and f's mom. f did some studying and i watched a little tv. it was nice and relaxing.
macy is doing quite well after his little surgery. he didn't seem to enjoy it too much, but he was happy to come home when we picked him up and surprisingly wasn't too angry with us. he was supposed to take it easy for at least a week, but he didn't like being locked in the bathroom. he isn't used to being in a "cage" and so our efforts failed. we tried to make him relax some, not run around, no jumping, playing, etc. but you don't know what he is doing when you are not at home. he appears to be physically healing fine. he has little flaps of skin that are hanging where his testicles used to be. it's kind of cute, but at the same time i hope that they eventually just go away. he has been eating two salads a day lately. he has a large handful of baby greens, with a couple of baby carrots on top! he loves it and is such a big! he rarely eats his pellets anymore because he is never hungry for them. i like to keep him happy. :)
ok, i think that's about it.... hopefully it won't start raining again tonight or tomorrow. bye bye
