another week gone. another week in front of me. i'm tired today. at least today is almost over! life has been one non-stop run for the past week and i am looking forward to my day off on monday.
work is crazy, i feel like i run around all day, and when i leave at the end of the day i feel like i got nothing done at all! i know that is a total lie and that i actually did something, but it just feels like i have gotten nowhere on my work. i guess there are just so many other little things that i need to do around the lab that i don't actually get to spend as much time on my stuff as i'd like. but, i guess that's what comes with actually having a job....needing to do the work along with the fun, i mean.
f had an interview last week for a PAYING summer job. she thinks she is going to take it, but she needs to actually attend the interviews that she had scheduled before she can accept. it seems like it is going to be great for her. it's a small firm, in berkeley, and they do gender discrimination stuff so she is excited.
we got our new couch on saturday. it's nice. it's red and comfortable and now all we need to do is get rid of the old one. that is going to be hard because it is quite sentimental to both of us....but i am sure sooner rather than later we will part with it. BUT, only if it is going to a new home. :)
ummm.....what else.....we went to the chinese new year parade on saturday night. that was lots of fun too! and this weekend joanna from england is coming to visit lauren and we will see them sunday. amanda is spending the night tonight so she doesn't have to get up at 5am to drive up here tomorrow.
i think that is all that is going on in our lives. i'm hungry and wondering what is for dinner. will we actually cook? or are we going to be lazy butts and just go get burritos or something. hmmm.....i'm thinking burritos.
