good day to you!
so it's been awhile since i posted and quite a few boring things have happened, but you probably aren't interested in hearing about the boring things so i will tell you just a few of the more exciting stuff.
x-mas: it was good. we were with f's family. we got to hang out a lot with her cousin and her fiance. he got an x-box for x-mas so we played with that quite a bit. i liked tennis! it seemed so real and the characters dove and stuff to get the ball. f and her cousin discovered the fantastic world of tetris! it was fun times! we got f's little cousin a leap pad with two books. the disney princesses to lure her in and then the bilingual spanish one to educate her. she seemed to like it, at least it was a quiet activity as compared to the rest of the family activities! we missed seeing erin while we were in the area, poo. i guess we were all just too busy. we did get to see kathy and meet her boy, scott. it was so wonderful to meet him finally after hearing so much about him. from what we could tell he seems like a wonderful guy and is great for kathy. i hope i didn't embarrass kathy too much with my garage comment. k's mom and f's mom seem almost exactly alike and i just love listening to them talk about it because they seem to get into the same situations with their mom's. (scott, did you get in the garage? ;)
when we finally got home, i was very excited because while we were gone my ipod arrived, yay! i love it. it is so awesome! now, all i need is an external hard drive so that i can store all my mp3 on it without taking up space on the actual computer. it's very pretty...but needs a name...any ideas?
the other big thing that has happened since we got home is that macy has decided that he can jump on the bed and couch all by himself. uh oh! we go through the same thing every morning at about 5 am. he jumps up, i pick him up, put him on the floor and say "no". Then almost immediately he will jump up again. so, i put him back on the floor and say "no". we go through this five times and then he gets picked up and put in the bathroom. i am hoping that he will soon learn that he is not allowed on the bed. and if he wants to come on it that he will be put in his house, even if he doesn't want to be there! how long do you think it will take? we are on day 6 today!
so, i think that's about it, i need to get back to work designing primers and stuff!
