i missed monday. sorry. i noticed that i have a tendency to always post on monday, but i missed last monday. it was a little busy. i drove up from santa cruz in the morning because i had to get to work at some point because i was meeting with neil to get my project. i now have my own project at work! yay! i am quite excited. now i just need to sit down with it at some point and figure out what is going on with it. i inherited it from somebody who left the lab so i need to figure out what he already did and where i need to start. i am excited to start working on it. i am even bringing it with me over the holidays so that i can think about it when i am sick of felicia's family.
we are leaving today for oxnard. hopefully it will be a good time. we are staying at the hotel that we have in the past that has a pool and a hot tub. i'm hoping it will be warm enough to go swimming tomorrow morning like last year. i want to call my parents from the pool and make them jealous! :) hehe....
most of the presents have been bought, and those that haven't will be bought after the holidays when the shopping slows a bit and you can actually find a parking spot at the mall. oh! we get to see kathy and meet her boy on sunday, i am very excited!
hmmmm....what else can i say in this post while i am rushing to finish so that we can get ready to leave. have a very happy x-mas and hopefully chanukah has been going well so far! we haven't really been doing much for chanukah this year, it's been a little crazy and we haven't been in the same spot for most of the time. however, macy is enjoying his time and grandma's and seems to be looking forward to moving on and smelling a new spot. he has been a little pig lately and eats not only all the alfalfa he can get his hands on, but also all his pellets, which as of late he wouldn't get near unless we didn't give him alfalfa.
