Yes, hello. It is Sunday and we are exhausted. Other than not sleeping well for two nights in a row, we spent a long day at Santa Clara University yesterday and so today we slept. Right now we are looking into a new car for mama, and information on student loans for next year and plans for the wedding we are attending in April. We are rather excited about this. It should be lots of fun, especially given our affinity for the Pacific Northwest.
It is strange because we have 2 weddings to attend in the next 3 months. There are lots of people getting hitched? scary!

Anyway, It appears that the Santa Clara applications for this year have doubled! They are having problems trying to decide who to accept and then how much money to give them. They don?t want to just accept the top people because they think that those applicants will end up going elsewhere and then they won?t have anybody to enroll! So, during the meeting the admissions officers said that they haven?t sent out anything in the past two weeks!! Apparently the admissions committees are in big trouble!! The admissions lady basically said not to worry, but she is still nervous about all the other schools! Makes sense why neither of us sleep!

E on the other hand is still studying her butt off the MCAT. She?s not sure she will do well, but she is still trying. We have worked on the essay lately and she is sure that she will be in big trouble for that! She says ?It?s not my fault I?m not a very good writer of philosophy! But, on the other hand my American Scientist magazine this month had a big article on antibiotic resistance and she was super excited?.? Maybe we have a budding microbiologist or infectious disease specialist in the making? We will just have to be patient as she does not want to make any decisions right now at all?including what to eat for dinner! She is being a pain in the butt, but what can I do?

Oh, yesterday we also went to Land Rover to test drive the Freelander. It appears that my mom likes it a lot, but we think it might be a little too sporty! The guy who was showing it to us drove up on this fake-o mountain thing and it goes almost sideways without tipping. I?m sure she will use that feature all the time! We were fairly nervous as we were at almost a 45 degree angle in a SUV. We are trying to get her to just look and the Toyota Highlander, in addition to a Jeep and maybe a Lexus for fun. We will have to see?

I think that?s about it?.

Yoga is fun. The lady who teaches it is good. It?s a little basic and not as intense or challenging as we would like, but it is still enjoyable and better than the others we tried. I like my jewelry making class. It is a good mental break. I think it will be lots of fun once we actually learn how to use all the tools and get going.
