we went down to la this past weekend to go to the second annual williams project update lecture. it was really good to go and be able to see all of the exciting things that are going on in the justice system. it makes one hopeful that eventually the us will actually catch up with my beliefs and values. it's coming....slowly....but moving forward...i think...

as for UCLA... it is seeming more and more like they don't give a crap at all about the students... at least not until the students can do something for them... i guess this is the same with all schools but it is a major concern if f is to be attending school there... something to think about... to kiss up or not to bother?

other than the friday afternoon event, our trip was kind of a bust. we didn't get to do all of the things we wanted to and didn't get to see all of the people we had hoped/planned to see. by saturday night we ended up feeling like we should have just come down for the day friday. we only got to spend quality time with one of the 5 or 6 people we actually wanted to see. it was kind of a bummer, but i guess everybody has their own lives, and we can't expect them to make time for us.

anyway...guess who gets her haircut friday? yes, that would be me, e, the one who is constantly obsessed with the length of her hair! yay! i am super excited as it is driving me absolutly nutts. i really think i need to just somehow get my hair to stop growing, it would make life so much easier as then i wouldn't have to get it cut and it would always be at the perfect lenght to be spikey. unlike now, it is just too long to do anything with! so, yay for friday.

we started our yoga class yesterday at cabrillo. the number of people at this place is insane! we were here over half an hour early and couldn't find a parking place until right before class started! I don't think any of these stupid people are actually buying parking permits...and they are even parking in staff parking spots! it's insane. then today, when i was supposed to go to microbio we got her even earlier and couldn't find a spot to park! we ended up getting so frusterated we just left! we came back later for f's art class and finally found a spot to park, but it is still insane.

i am seriously thinking about complaining and demanding every last cent back from these people. there are just too many people, and they have made parking too low on the priority list! argh! maybe we should just ditch the whole thing and thank our lucky stars that we don't have to be there and that we have already done all that... at least thank our lucky stars that we are not morons!

other than that....we haven't really done anything exciting! I have so many people i should write e-mails to, but i can't seem to get myself to do it. i have just been studying for the mcat and then when i am done i don't want to sit in front of the computer. so, if you are expecting e-mail from me, i'm sorry.

I think that's it for now....oh...f got in to a law school! yay! she got into seattle U. YAY! it's NOT u of washington, law school, and it is probably not the best choice...but it's in seattle! we are still waiting patiently (or not so patiently in the case of f) for the rest of them to start coming.....please come and be good news!!! :) I keep telling f, "in the worst case senario we are going to seattle, and in the best case senario we are going to seattle...unless of course something really strange happens and then maybe we are going to nyc" we'll keep you posted.

love and kisses.....
