the update.....
i (e) have been a mcat studying fool this past week! well, not exactly, but i have been to kaplan every day in an attempt to watch their entire video series to help me prepare to really get going on the practice tests and other stuff. I am confident that i can do this. on my diagnostic, the ochem section which i expected to get no questions right, i actually did fairly decent. there is certainly still room for improvement, but i think after i re-learn these science-y topics i can actually get a decent score. do i want to get a decent score? hmmm...now that is the question! if i do, does that mean i have to consider going to med school? well...i'm not worrying about that right now, i think i'll wait till i get my scores to worry about that!
f on the other hand has been my little housewife. every night i have come home to something new, clean clothes, an organized desk, a clean dog, etc. i think she really likes to stay at home and do little house-like projects. i only hope that next year she will be able to get back into the swing of school things! waiting to find out where we will live is putting some major stress on her right now. i only hope that after we figure that out she will relax a little.
other than that, life is just pretty good. driving to san jose for different classes almost everyday isn't the most fun, but i'll live. i am looking forward to using the library at cabrillo in a week. i think it will really do me some good to have a place to go to study hard for a few hours at a time without any disruptions and stuff! i'm also looking forward to yoga! it's going to be wonderful to get back into that again! i feel like it has been so long since we've gone to a yoga class, i'm afraid of how unhappy my body is going to be with me pushing it again. we went to the beach every morning last week for a long walk. it has been beautiful here! in the mid 60's with a wonderful sea breeze and more sun than we've seen in awhile!
we both need haircuts...but unfortunately, no haircut until we have some money. i guess i'll eventually have to cave in and get one....but i have to wait as long as possible!
