we saw this movie a long time ago and it is now out on dvd.
it won an oscar, and two golden globes.
sandra oh is in it.
but, other than her it sucked. i don't understand why people seemed to like it so much. we almost got up in the middle and left, but decided that something good had to happen because of the awards and reviews and stuff. it didn't get any better and in the end we left scratching our heads trying to figure out what was wrong with us. why didn't we like it? why did so many other people love it? we saw all of the moview that were nominated for best picture oscar (and others that weren't) and neither of us understand why this one was choosen and what other people see in it.
does anybody know?

it's raining today in berkeley (what a surprise) i haven't heard from my mom yet. i'm worried and f's not feeling good. she thinks she may be having an attack of the campylobacter. she ate rubios the night before she started feeling sick. just when i find things at rubios they poison her, not once, but possibly twice.
we have a bunny meeting tomorrow. yay bunnies! hopefully f will be up to going so that she can see her little scoots. she loves those fat headed boys.
ok, off to lab meeting...
