the weekly update!
f went to the dentist this morning. she called me on her way home and she did not sound happy. neither of us have had good luck at the dentist lately. oh well, now at least we are all set with our teeth for 6 months. :)
in other news....last weekend was sf pride. we went on saturday and sunday. saturday we went to the booths and stuff at the civic center and decided that kind of sucked. i mean, we've already registered to vote, as domestic partners, f's mom is way too into pflag, and how much free lube can possibly need, so there really wasn't that much for us to see/do. then sunday was the parade. we watched the beginning on tv (dykes on bikes with jan wahl - aka the hat lady) and then hopped on bart to get down there for the middle/end. we met up with amanda and matt and had a lovely time. they had a pretty good view and since they are both 10 feet tall they let the shorties stand in front of them. it was good, but by about the middle it got kind of boring because it was just tons of groups of people walking down the street. i mean, i think it's great that anybody can be apart of the parade, but it gets a little long to get excited for everybody and their brother and their dog.
i can't think of anything else to say....i don't think we did anything exciting this week. we have started swimming at night. i want to start going to yoga, but that will have to wait until at least next week. our hard drive died. thank god i just got the 120 GB external drive and backed up all of our data. i have to go home and install the new one dell sent me. i'm not too excited about having to re-install all of our programs, but there isn't much of a choice. hopefully it won't be too bad, i think tomorrow i'll have to bring it to work and download all day while i am working. that will be ok i guess.
ok, it's about time to go home now. i just have one more thing to finish up and then i am out of here
