it's been a while since i wrote anything exciting. we will see if i can come up with anything exciting to talk about today. it's highly unlikely that i will, but you are welcome to continue to read just in case!
i am currently listening to npr. it's always fun and exciting to listen to npr. i can't figure out why i don't listen to it more. i should. i am also listening for my timer to go off every five minutes so that i can flick my tube and re-set the timer. yes, this is a little strange to be spending my hour doing this, but i am in the process of a thrombin cleavage and my volume is too small to actually rotate, so i am just flicking instead. :)
last weekend we went to two sarah mclachlan concerts. they were both fantastic! friday night she was at the hp pavilion in san jose and we had nose bleed seats, but we got to go with willis, sarah was totally on and just fantastic. at the end after she did her encore when we all thought she was done and everybody was starting to leave, she came back. it was totally dark, and she said "sike" and then the lights came on facing her alone at the piano. it was very cool! :) saturday night she was at the greek theater. the show wasn't as exciting because the set was almost the exact same, but it was still a great show. we had much better seats. our original tickets got messed up so we ended up having to buy the really expensive tickets, but we were in the 2nd row of the second section, so like 22 i think was the exact row. it was great to be able to see her close up instead of through lauren's binoculars.
i am still working on the tickets from sarah mclachlan at the greek. i have no clue what happened, but let me tell you it got all messed up! i ended up having to buy a second set of tickets at the door for the performance and now i am trying to work with the stupid people on getting a refund. i talked to somebody at another planet on saturday night who told me i could get a refund no problem. now, she has changed her tune and says she can't give me a refund, but will instead give me tickets to another performance. i don't want tickets, i want my money back for the extra set of tickets that i didn't use and didn't want to buy. argh. from looking at this groups website they are a new company, only 1 year old, well, if they are going to be so shitty and horrible, they aren't going to last too many years longer in my opinion! pissy!
anyway....we also took macy to see the bunnies at the shelter when we went on sunday. he did much better than when we left him at home. i think he understands a little more....maybe? well, he understands now that he can come with us when we go see the bunnies and that we aren't leaving him at home while we go have fun with other buns. he still didn't seem to like the other buns. he spent most of the time in his little house, and the rest of the time he didn't seem to be happy. he peed on the floor in an attempt to mark his territory. he was right next to a big group of baby buns and he stared at them like he wanted to kill them. we put one of them close to him and he grunted and tried to attack the little guy. so we thought maybe he wanted a friend closer to his age (which is what they claim they want) so we tried out a whole bunch of buns (all boys) and all he did was grunt them. then at the end we tried a girl bun thinking maybe at least he'd think she was cute. and he decided to show his dominance over her by making whoopee. it was not a pleasant scene. nobody wants to admit that their kids are having sex, and let me tell you, i am one of them! my baby had sex! and he's less than a year old AND has no testicles! why? why? *sigh* so, in the end we left the rabbits with only one bun, the one we came with, and now we will bring him with us every sunday so that he doesn't get too jealous and try and attack his mommies.
this weekend is indigo girls with natalie and erika. it should be fun. we'll see....ok, so this has gotten a lot longer than i meant it to be, so i shall go now.
