Yesterday we went to see SAVED... as per Doug, it was fantastic. we highly recommend it.
I also was in on a my first mediation yesterday (something I can bet no one else in my mod got to do this summer). I was in all conferences and talked to the mediator in private with the attorney in fact my boss asked my opinion and wanted my in put!! VERY exciting. We didn’t settle and I can’t give many details but the negotiation lessons in Civ Pro last year came in handy. I learned all about tax ramifications, negotiation tactics, and most importantly how juries (and state judges) in different counties around here deal with harassment cases. A lot of it was evaluating the other side, their chances, demeanor, and (sometimes lame) arguments. This baby lawyer loves being in with the big lawyers:)
