as i said, we are back from mn. we had a lovely trip, although it was not nearly long enough to do all the things we had wanted to. we got to see both grandma's, emily, mychal, victor and megan, as well as spend a day with my brother and meet his girlfriend. we also got to patina and bibelot and had lunch at the malt shop, got my dad a dvd player for his birthday, went out to dinner at the family restaurant from when i was wee. we missed macy a lot, but he seemed to do just fine with amanda.
i think that's it for the trip. it's cesar chavez day today at cal. excitement. all it means to me is that i am supposed to have the day off, but i am at work anyway. i have lots to do and i just took a few days off. it's spring break for f. she is spending the day with her mum doing things together that i wouldn't normally like to do. i hope they are having fun without me!
i need to get new tires for my car and get my bumper fixed. the bumper is at the shop, i just need to find a time when i can leave the car there for a day or two. i think it won't happen until the end of next week as f has some dr appts that i need to drive her to in the beginning. i am excited for the weekend. i've only worked two days this week so my energy level is high. i wonder what things i can do around the house. i still need to paint the bedroom, and fix the macy chewing on the wall. the painting probably will have to wait, but i think i can do a little touchup on the wall.
i think i shall get running. my incubation is almost done....have a nice weekend!
