tuesday....hmmm.....the past week....nothing super exciting has happened since last tuesday. we saw natalie and erika on sunday which was fun like it always is. we went to the crepevine and then over to their house to hang out for a little while. erika only has one semester of school left and she seems very excited to be finished and move up to sf and live with natalie. i'm excited for her to move up here too...maybe we'll see them more often!
other than that, life has been pretty boring. idiot me spilled red stuff all over our 6x9 ft rug the other day and since it was kind of cheap to begin with i didn't want to pay to have it dry cleaned. so, we tried to wash the dirty end in the bathtub....well...i think it sort of worked. we got all the stain off, but now the thing is drying over our counter. we have had it hanging with the fan blowing on it for two days now and it still isn't dry. it feels a little crusty too, hopefully that will go away after we put it on the floor and vacuum it. if not, i'm not sure what can be done to make it better! maybe we'll just have to buy another rug. well....it was nice while it lasted!
i am going to paint the bedroom as soon as f can finish deciding on colors. i think we are going to do a lavender as the main color and something else exciting as the trim (that is what she needs to decide on!) we are also thinking about painting two walls one color and the other two another color which would be fun, but then....what color do we paint the ceiling? i don't think it will take more than a day to do. the walls right now are white and look good so i think it will only need one coat, which will take me a day to do and then will just have to dry overnight. unless f decides that i need to do something fancy!
tonight f goes to sc for her eye appt tomorrow. i will be all alone at home :( but, she'll come back tomorrow so it'll only be one night. and then she starts school again next tuesday, BUT i get monday off with her. so, monday, we will have to do something super fun to celebrate my day off and her last day of freedom before second semester! :)
