life is crazy!
tomorrow we are going to berkeley so that f can join kathy for a day of classes, it will be fun! and maybe f will feel a little more confident about her choice.
then, thursday we are starting our trip with crotchy-ra, and willis junior to the cousin willis wedding in the lovely town of hood river, oregon. We are hoping that the weather is pretty nice, maybe it won't rain? if it does, it will still be fun to see all of the scrippsies that we haven't really seen since our first year. we are both curious as to who will actually be at this event, some people we would be very excited to see and others we are afraid we might have to avoid.
f got a lovely new dress. it's red and has little flowers on it. it looks kinda asian inspired, but a little more retro. that probably sounds kinda strange, huh? well, it looks good on her! she also got cute little red reefs to match, although it might be too cold for her to wear them to this wedding, we still have one in mn in june that she can wear them to! i'm still not sure what i'm going to wear. that is the job for tonight.
this afternoon we packed the gift. hopefully it can make one more trip. It came all the way from england! I'd say more, but i am afraid the bride might get bored (yay right!) in the next few days and read this so i don't want to give it away. I packed it all nice, and tight in bubble wrap and peanuts, hopefully wills won't sit on it. ;) we lost the card we got in england. it was really cute! But, we found another one today that will work. it's cute too, but not as cute as the old one. We aren't wrapping the gift in nice wrapping paper. its too big and we don't have any money left for paper. i figure that what is inside is great enough so i don't need to make the outside look nice!
i still need to get my oil changed and decide what car to take. do we want to go economical or go for lots of room. i know everybody’s opinion on this, but i'm still not sure at all! i think i will have to wait and see how much f packs to decide. i don't want people to be crammed, but i don't want to take the entire responsibility of driving either!
ohh, we got our hair cut today. we look super cute. f's looks like of like melanie from QAF. it's longer than mel's, but its the same style and mine, well, it's just short. it feels so good to take a shower and barely have to do anything.
f said i was too into exclamation points tonight and made me go back and change them all to periods. poo! ;)
