we had a pretty good day today. :)
we started our day with a yummy taqueria. the first we've found in mn...except for the dinners with mychal at the sorta-scary restaurants she takes us to here. like ozzy osbourne it appears that i have a little burrito fetish...hopefully i will eventually get over it! after lunch we enjoyed the 55 degree weather! yes, in minneapolis minnesota on januaray 8th 2003 it was 55 degrees! how long do you think it will last? yesterday we took a nice long walk around lake calhoun and today was lake harriet.
we also went to old navy where i found these super cute pj's on sale for only 6$, they are a little big, but everything can shink when washed in hot water and dried on hot, right? matching pj's aren't really my thing, but i'll do anything to look cute for f!
then, this evening we went to see chicago...except we had planned to see bowling for columbine, except for some reason my mother left the wed, dec 25th paper out and we thought it was today's! oops...so the verdict on chicago. it was well worth the 5.50 we paid,and the stage version was well worth the 50 pounds we paid, but the movie could never be as good. i guess i don't really believe the actors are that good because i know that they had as many tries as the needed to get a scene right, but on stage you only have the one shot and if you mess up it's pretty obvious. we would love to see catherine zeta-jones and richard gere in the live version ("and of course taye diggs" says f), but not the rest.
so...i think we are off to bed! the futon comes friday, which means the remodel of my room is pretty much done! all we need now are to figure out some things for the walls because it is looking kinda bare right now! maybe we'll get some before and after pictures up so we can be just like trading spaces, except without the trading part!
