the holidays have come and gone and we are now settling in for the rest of winter…
that sounds like the beginning of a novel, doesn’t it? oh well…we are kind of trying to get back to life in the states. while I know we weren't gone long enough to really get used to living in england, we both have this weird connection and feel like brits (maybe in a past life?).
anyway, so you ask, what’s next? that’s a good question! we still don’t know exactly what we are going to do, but for right now we are content re-doing some of the house in minnesota. it is a lot like trading spaces except just us. (yes erica we will have before and after photos). we took down wallpaper, and painted the walls (the color is called “grey cashmere” and e is quite obsessed with it, she has decided to paint our entire house that color... we'll see about that), we are re-finishing wood floor and have a new futon that is ready to be picked up when we are done. maybe sunday or early next week? the room will now be a little more comfortable for us as we plan on spending some time around here now and then in the summer.
we are both engrossed in books right now. f is reading “Empty Without You: The Intimate Letters of Eleanor Roosevelt and Lorena Hickok” a great book which leaves no questions as to ER’s sexuality and e is reading "Pharmacology is Murder” a science-y mystery to get her brain moving a little.
e wants the rainbow card except f says that i "have a rainbow card on my face" and that she wants the airline mile card first. She also notes that they are not just handing out ccs to people without JOBS! oh well...
off to watch a movie and move some furniture!
