TONY TONY TONY!!! yes... yesterday (after waiting in line for 2 hours- f made us get there that early so we'd be first in line - and we were by about 1 hour - right in front of the nice pakistani man who explained the entire parlimentary system to us and f explained to him how congress works) we sat above Tony Blair as he remarked on the Queens speech on behalf of the Labour party of great britian. F wants to trade in monkey man for tony. we now have a photo of f's overwhelmingly excited "tony face". We missed the queen by 5 min because they would not let visitors get close enough to blow her up or something... they wouldn't even let us bring in a camera or wallet or bag... and they kept asking if we had a parachute (in case we wanted to drop onto the floor from above?). We also heard from that other party but who cares...
The London Regus Film festival has been going on while we have been here so today we decided to see a film since it was rainy. it was called "dead or alive: final" it sucked. not at all what the ad in the booklet said it would be, but oh well!
tonight we are going to see the play"this is our youth". it seems like it should be young and enjoyable. maybe? it has to be better than the crappy film we saw.
anyway...we are off....bye bye
