the LSAT is over as of Monday at 3:00... the only totally fucked up part was the essay... the part that should have been no problem... the rest… well… we’ll see (everyone pray for October 26 to come so we can see the score!). we are tired. we are in Claremont for a few days visiting the profs and Jenn and Becky and Janice and Meghan and Rebecca and lindsay and....everybody else!
That’s about all there is to say….
Sunday we were in Oxnard. We got to LA the other night and as we were driving through Pasadena we started a long chat that we have continued through today about how Los Angeles is home to us no matter how much we really hate the city, the smog, etc. It is hard being on campus because it is like visiting your house and someone else lives there. It is also the first time we have ever been here with NOTHING to do…. not to mention that we have had so many things to do for the past 12 months and right here right now, we don’t. Hopefully England will clear us of the burden of responsibility for a while and then we can comeback to a new home and some new goals for life.
F visited Tom and Susan today re: recommendations for law school. Academic life is the best... why did we leave? These people are fantastic... this is why regular people are so lame... they don't talk about TV and traveling and postmodernism during the day. That should change.
Note to self: Have to member to hassle Tom to send letters... which reminds me... Tom is super wonderful… makes me feel good about me...
E likes to just sit comatose. there are no dishes to do. there are no errands to run. there is nothing that has to be done. it is nice. it will be over soon. soon back to panicing about life. *sigh* that's just how it is...sad
