life just keeps getting more busy every moment! we are also beginning to write in the third person here so let us know if it is freaking you out
today was fairly uneventful, but it was very full! E worked all day, went to the bank to see about getting travelers checks in pounds sterling, and helped F with all her paper work. F is completing the basic parts of a total of 11 applications for Law Schools (can you guess all 11?) and is writing to the committee on promotions and tenure on behalf of 2, count em 2, Scripps professors. See there is a down side to being teachers pet! at least there is no guilt now about asking those profs to write the Law school recs ;)
we are also getting ready for a small, but much needed vacation next week after F takes the LSAT. E is about to pass out because there hasn't been much sleeping in this house due to all the nerves about leaving in less than a month. everything will be fine and we just need to let everything go, but since we are control freaks we won't ever let go and even when we get there we will be super nervous about every little detail!!!!
E has become super obsessed with these cookies. they are vegan. she is not vegan, she is not even completely a veggie, but that will come eventually. E really likes the chocolate chip ones although she is not sure why they are so good, "they taste like a small piece of heaven". the only problem is that they are only available at one store here in SC and probably nowhere in england. how sad! any volunteers to send them?
anyway, E says "i am going to convince f that it is now time to crawl into our pj's (oh wait, she never took hers off today!) and plop in front of the tv to watch will & grace and er." yay for thursday, the only tv night that even comes close to thursday is monday (which is the only other night we actually watch tv except for the cosby show on nick at night which doesn't really count) and everyone knows we are too embarrassed to admit what program we watch on monday.
