a few months ago we decided that we needed interview suits for jobs that we might be getting so we have been looking and looking and looking. i finally found one that i actually liked and wasn't too girly from eddiebauer.com (p. 87 of the "look homeward" fall catalog). i ordered it and was very excited because i was convinced that this was going to be the one and that i would love it! if you look at it in the catalog there is no question that it is a "ez kinda suit". I mean, look at the model.... ;)
it came. actually, for somer reason they sent two. i am now cranky. the pants have a tiny waist and a huge ass/hips. i admit that i am not skinny, but i could fit both of my legs in one of the pant legs and i can't even button the waist. what is wrong with these people?
*sigh* i think i give up. they are just going to have to deal with dress pants and sweaters. they probably won't even pay me enough to afford to wear suits and stuff every day. i'm a techie. i'm a geek. i don't wear things like that. i wear ripped jeans and sweatshirts and play ping pong during the day to de-stress and still some how manage to be more productive than your average person. that's why i liked working at aladdin, they are all like me there.
anyway...off to eat dinner and administer an lsat. speaking of lsat. what is the ONLY thing you'd think they ABSOULTELY can not change about a standardized test no matter what? the date you say? well, wrong. they changed it. f will now be taking the lsat on monday october 7th instead of saturday the 5th like everybody else in the world. what about work? we are supposed to be at work that day and we had to change our hotel reservation, they are just mean. i think they did the monday thing on purpose to make life more difficult. Do you think they will give her the same one? anybody taking the test that day and want to sell it to me? ;) just kidding...that would be cheating and she'd never become a lawyer if they caught her cheating on the lsat! eek. bad idea *hitting hand with ruler* but...if the test happens to come your way you could....oh shit. nevermind. that bad idea is coming back.
